VA Researcher Dr. Mary Whooley receives 2019 Michael Pollack Established Investigator Award
The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation has selected VA investigator Dr. Mary Whooley MD FACP FAHA FACC as the recipient of the 2019 Michael L. Pollock Established Investigator Award in recognition of her outstanding work in the field of cardiovascular rehabilitation research.
Each year this award is presented to an individual who has a history of significant research contributions in the field of cardiovascular rehabilitation. Her selection is in recognition of her many outstanding contributions to the science of cardiovascular disease, mental health, and home-based cardiac rehabilitation.
She will be recognized as the recipient of this prestigious award at the 2019 AACVPR Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon. The award will be presented during a General Session at the event. Additionally, her achievements will be recognized via a custom award video.
